A plant flourishes with light, water and good soil. It is our belief, that when unconditional love and comfort is offered, along with genuine and ready personal service, the client, no matter how great the degree of dementia under which he/she labours, will respond in kind.
Since our beginnings in January 1985, we have seen Green Bank as a small family enclave. To this end, and with our present client group consisting of dementia sufferers, this is more relevant than ever. Each client is an individual with different likes and idiosyncrasies. Every resident is known to all staff and greeted, whether by the manager or a junior care giver or by the gardener, welcoming them into the bosom of their surrogate family.
Green Bank is a small elegant home for elderly people who have been diagnosed with Dementia or related condition, owned and operated by the same family since 1985. Our twin aims are personal service and dedication to the enhancement of the quality of life for those in our care.
Aims & Objectives
- Our objectives are, with well trained staff, to provide enabling support and safety without infringing on personal privacy;
- To anticipate rather than pontificate;
- To create a warm atmosphere of safety, and to promote a family ambience where the individual can feel completely at home.
